Re: Ladybird
NoScript is a "part of the main browser" in Tor Browser and Mullvad Browser...where it is still an extension. So before any type of running NoScript in Ladybird can be considered, Ladybird would need to support WebExtensions extensions and all the required WebExtensions APIs. Note that alt...

Re: Youtube changes? Loading YT opens a new tab + Youtube Sidebar
I can reproduce this on computerbase.de if I set computerbase.de to (Temp.) TRUSTED and then reload the page.
Is there any possibility this is related to when a site registers a ServiceWorker?

Re: Youtube changes? Loading YT opens a new tab + Youtube Sidebar
Not seeing this here in a quick test. What version of NoScript are you using? Does "Disable restrictions for this tab" have any effect on this issue? Instantly after Fav Icon click (or pressing enter after typing it in, or simlpy press F5 while using YT) a new tab appears, and closes itsel...

Which post did you want to reply to?
If you were a registered user, you could private message what you want to post to an active Support Team member and we will try to post it for you. PMs to forum staff are not spam-filtered, and the spam filter is more lenient on us.

Re: Temporarily TRUSTED Requires Reload with 12.6
I still don't get "temp trusted" but only "individual" permissions for the top-level sites? The expected behavior is that if the site is not configured in your permanent NoScript configuration (i.e. it's set to DEFAULT), navigating to a page on that site should result in it bein...

Re: There is too much JavaScript to enable
permit me to make the general observation that Noscript will not in the future be creating its own allow list in the similar manner as Sponsor Block. Is that a fair analysis of what I might expect ? Yes. NoScript leaves it up to the user to decide whether & why a site is trusted, untrusted, or ...

Re: There is too much JavaScript to enable
I asked this for a reason: For what purpose(s) did you install NoScript? You seem to be focusing on blocking tracking scripts and possibly also blocking advertising. Thinking that NoScript can serve these purposes is not an uncommon misconception, but it seems to have suddenly become much more preva...

Re: Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch
What if we remove the technical stuff and just try to convey the basic information? "Automatically trust sites loaded as the top level document" This could work, though not sure if it'd still have potential to be misinterpreted as setting permanent permissions. https://i.psyche.me/thinkin...

NoScript does not have the functionality you're seeking, sorry.

Re: Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch
1. We don't apply neither the "TRUSTED" nor the "Temp. TRUSTED" presets anymore: instead we create and apply a CUSTOM capabilities set which matches the current TRUST preset, but is temporary and contextual to the top domain. This reasoning seems too focused on technical impleme...

Re: Temporarily set top-level sites to TRUSTED glitch
Personally, I prefer "Automatically set top-level sites to Temp.TRUSTED" +1. Or to be sharper, "Automatically set top-level sites to contextually Temp.TRUSTED" A tooltip "When restarting the browser, the checkbox will remain checked and permissions for top-level sites will ...
