Re: NoScript sets site as Untrusted, even though it is in the whitelist

Sorry, I completely missed the NoScript version Image Please update your very outdated and insecure NoScript to latest version (11.2.7 at time of writing).

Re: NoScript sets site as Untrusted, even though it is in the whitelist

Do you have NoScript Options > Advanced, "Enable setting permanent permissions in incognito/private tabs" checked?
Are you using Firefox Sync?

Re: NoScript crashes constantly

If it is not the latest NoScript version as per https://noscript.net/getit, please leave open the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) while using Firefox and let us know any related messages there around the time this issue occurs.

The "unrestricted CSS" setting is NOT enabled for any of the sites with this issue.
... and (as a test) does enabling it make the issue go away?

Does the presence of this problem depend on your setting of the "unrestricted CSS" capability for the site you're visiting?

Re: Update supported browsers on noscript.net/getit

Much better, thanks Giorgio! Two nits: 1) small typo - "latest NoScript version compatible with Gecko 5 7 - Gecko 58 is 10.1.7.3" 2) "You can still download NoScript "Classic" (5.1.9) (SHA256) for Palemoon, Waterfox Classic and possibly other "vintage" (pre-Gecko 57) Firefox forks here:" - SeaMonkey...

Re: Update supported browsers on noscript.net/getit

Bump. With NoScript Classic no longer supported and SeaMonkey not supporting WebExtensions, SeaMonkey cannot be currently supported and thus should be removed from the list of supported browsers. Also, what is minimum supported Chromium/Blink version? So, to recap the notes in this thread: 1) Minimu...

Why aren't you using Firefox's own internal profiler?
Because they're on Waterfox, which (at least when I was using it) doesn't have the internal profiler.

@Darkums Waterfox is not a supported browser. Do you see this issue in latest Firefox or latest Firefox ESR?

I think it only applies to sites set as DEFAULT. What permission do you have set for "...amazonaws.com"?

The forums aren't in the whitelist to prevent people to think it's a conflict of interest.
In that case, maybe we should have a <noscript> tag on the guest posting and registration pages, containing advice to help those who have JS disabled on this forum?

Re: Prevent script execution with MutationObserver in Firefox?

Thanks Giorgio for the response! it should work for loaded scripts. It doesn't for me, putting this page on my local server - <meta charset="utf-8"> <script> let m=new MutationObserver((ra) => { for (let r of ra) { for (let n of r.addedNodes) { if (n.tagName == 'SCRIPT') n.remove(); } } }); m.observ...

Prevent script execution with MutationObserver in Firefox?

(Spinning off from https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?p=103934#p103934 to keep that thread on topic -) MutationObserver callbacks are called after the DOM is modified (but before most side effects of that modification, like repaints or script parsing and execution, happen). How do you get...
