How extensions trick Chrome Webstore search
https://palant.info/2025/01/08/how-extensions-trick-cws-search/ I think I may have seen effects like this before when searching Chrome Web store. Guess this is another reason to prefer going to an extension's official homepage/repo to get (or cross-check) the link to that extension in the relevant ...

Re: YouTube videos stop after 60 seconds
Workarounds: Turning off NoScript for the tab Generally this means solution is a matter of finding which specific additional permission(s) the site requires for the wanted functionality. (but then I have to watch ads -- NoScript is a security tool, not an adblocker. If you are looking to block ads,...

Re: Doubts and Confusions
Could you respond to other inquiries as well please? I don't know all answers to all your questions, but can additionally help with these two - I am aware that it is not recommended to install filter-based extensions like uBO with NS Browser. False. Such setup *is* recommended here: NoScript for se...

Re: Change [Report Only] messages level
But until NS version 12 they did not appear. Can't do anything? Previous versions of NoScript were using Manifest V2 extensions APIs. NoScript 12 is using Manifest V3 extensions APIs, which are more limited and as Giorgio said in the other thread it's not possible to keep the previous approach that...

Re: Ebay "Verify its You"
NoScript is completely unrelated and orthogonal to VPN. As such, it cannot work around issues caused by websites not playing well with using a VPN.

Re: 12.0.901 does not auto-reload when closing popup
@barbaz, could not confirm. FF 115, NoScript 12.0.901 Weird, now I can't confirm this either? :? Same Firefox 133.0.3 / NoScript 12.0.901 combination is now behaving as expected, in both clean profile and my main profile. Guess this wasn't a NoScript issue even though I have no idea what ex...

Re: RC for Firefox, from ver 12.0.901, is not checking secure.informaction.com for updates
Can confirm this. Monitoring network requests with the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) shows that updates for NoScript 12.0.901 are being checked against AMO instead of Giorgio's sites. Thanks DJ-Leith for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out to install manually when the next NoScript dev build is avai...

Re: If JS blocked, if same site open in mulitple tabs, if Allow, should other tabs reflect the Allow
If JavaScript is blocked for a site, say information.com, if I have multiple tabs (pages) open to informaction.com, if I (Temporarily) Allow informaction.com in one of those tabs, if I jump to a different informaction.com tab, should that tab, the NoScript icon, reflect that informaction.com is All...

Re: 12.0.901 does not auto-reload when closing popup
This forum. Allow informaction.com - with that "icons" appear Revoke - with that icons still appear You have to do a hard refresh on the page to make the icons go away. That's expected behavior. The webfont providing those icons has been cached and is being loaded entirely from cache. No ...

Re: Change [Report Only] messages level
Maybe you can change the message level of your `[Report Only]` debug in Chrome to info or warning, better than error. Those messages look to be coming from Chromium, not NoScript, in which case NoScript wouldn't have control over them. These messages appear by the hundreds, making it impossible to ...

Re: TypeError: csp.blocks is not a function
Thanks Giorgio for the fix! Not sure why that type of issue didn't reproduce in a clean profile Anyway 12.0.901 fixed this error in my main profile.
