Re: WebExtensions changes coming?

Thanks for the link therube. From the mentioned migration guide - The new Scripting API takes over the features of tabs.insertCSS(), tabs.removeCSS(), and tabs.executeScript() and adds capabilities to register, update, and unregister content scripts at runtime. Also, the code parameter is removed so...

Chrome's and MS's cloud-powered spell-checking features could exfiltrate passwords and sensitive data?

Re: Mozilla is now working with Facebook/Meta to make new adtech API

Hadn't heard anything about this in a while, so did some digging and found that the latest spec is moved to https://github.com/patcg-individual-drafts/ipa I wasn't able to read all of that, but read enough of it to gather that they're aware of the concern I raised in the previous post about malverti...

Re: Unable to post to the NOSCRIPT ABE forum (split from t=26800)

Split this to its own thread and moving to Metaforum where it belongs, so that your support issue you posted in reply to this gets dedicated attention. NoScript Webext does not yet have ABE functionality back. So your situation doesn't belong in ABE forum. It's possible the spam filter is just tryin...

Re: 11.4.10rc3 Cross-tab identity leak protection trips way too late

Might it be, though, that those "navigations" are actually AJAX requests Flathub does. Github maybe, I'm not sure.
