Re: 11.4.32rc1 breaks meta refresh on script-disabled pages
It's not just meta refresh. On https://www.hirensbootcd.org/old-versions/, with NoScript 11.4.32rc1, left-clicking the link to archive.hirensbootcd.org doesn't work, nothing happens when trying.

Re: Tag <script> enable by default
Does it happen in a new, clean Firefox profile with all default settings and NoScript the only extension installed? Yes, the same thing happens on android 12 That doesn't answer the question. Did you click the profile link? Does it happen in a new, clean Firefox profile with all default settings an...

Re: Tag <script> enable by default
NoScript does not enable "script" in DEFAULT preset by default.
What browser and OS are you seeing this on? If the browser you posted from, I think it's not a supported browser, NoScript only supports desktop versions of Chrome/Chromium.

Re: Enable JavaScript while keeping NoScript active
NoScript Options > General, in Default tab, check "script" (and also "unrestricted CSS" since that's not useful to disallow where JS is allowed) This method allows using NoScript's per-site permissions system for other capabilities. And to disable individual site's JS while keepi...

Yes.equesinferi wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 7:55 pm Hi, is there a way to keep JavaScript enabled, while keeping NoScript active?
"Keep JavaScript enabled, while keeping NoScript active" could mean a few different things that are possible, so if you would like more details, could you please be more specific what you have in mind?

Re: (i)frame placeholders
I do see the iframe on the first link and the frames on the second link, and can confirm this report: NoScript 11.4.31rc3 does not show placeholders for the blocked iframes and frames. Firefox 128.0 here. Did NoScript Webext ever show frame placeholders? (I don't know since I don't use this feature ...

Re: 11.4.30rc2 New WebGL placeholders are in the way
Thanks Giorgio for addressing this so fast! Much better in 11.4.31rc2, the placeholders are actually on top now, and anyway positioned where they're much less likely to be in the way, and the new option to toggle them works ![Image](https://i.psyche.me/thumbsup_left.gif)

Re: Issue with Twitter/X ads remaining
NoScript is not an ad blocker. Any ad blocking it happens to do is only a side effect of its security functionality.
If uBlock Origin is working to block the ads you don't want to see, just use uBlock Origin. You don't need to disable NoScript for this, you can use both extensions together.

Re: network.trr.excluded-domains
NoScript has no access to that setting at all. There is no WebExtensions API to either read or alter that value.
