Re: Best method to identify blocked content?

Unfortunately it just is trial-and-error to some extent. But there are ways to reduce the amount of trial-and-error, e.g. viewtopic.php?p=75314#p75314

I wonder if this really is still on agenda?
Yes it is. Per-site permissions is being added as a feature as part of UI redesign work. And I have been pushing to get ABE ported to NoScript Webext. So there will be two ways to do this.

Re: Testers Wanted: NoScript UX Overhaul by Simply Secure

Go to androidpolice.com in ffox/chrome with Developer Tools open and on the network tab. search for fonts.googleapis.com or sort by domain and see if any other domains were connected to that were not listed on the NoScript list. fonts.googleapis.com does not load any active content. It only loads a...

Thanks for confirming.

Locking as duplicate of viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21997 since it's the same question by the same user and the situation hasn't changed since then.

Re: View all loaded scripts when opening page?

This isn't a feature of NoScript. NoScript is a security tool. If a domain is malicious, there's nothing stopping them from putting malicious code in any of the scripts they serve. There's no real security advantage to that level of granularity in permissions. The closest you can come to what you're...

Re: navigator.sendBeacon blocked

Someone reported this on Github - https://github.com/hackademix/noscript/issues/88 I disagree with the solution proposed by that reporter. Those reclassifications are counter-intuitive and don't address the actual problem: the preset customisations have no checkbox for "ping", which means NoScript s...

Re: Testers Wanted: NoScript UX Overhaul by Simply Secure

While we're at it, it would be nice to be able to block other 3rd party things even if a script what not referenced. I prefer uBlock Origin nowadays because I can block other items even when the domain does not have scripts. And prevent a bit more as well. I don't know if XHR's and websockets fall ...

This looks like a NoScript bug. Is this bug still there in latest development build?

Re: Cannot find about:config info in latest build of Firefox?

I heard ( https://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25525 ) there are some noScript options in about:config, but about:config seems to have no noScript options! Did you actually read the thread you linked and understand what it's about? Could anyone help me with changing the deeper option...

Thunderbird dropping support for legacy extensions

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tb-planning/-E8Yw6POxEE Sounds like they're also going to remove legacy addons from addons.thunderbird.net, just like Mozilla did from AMO a while back. What will happen to SeaMonkey addons in light of this? (I know Tobin saw this coming and brought this up a...

Re: [Resolved] 11.0.4rc2 keeps thinking it needs to reload tabs

Now, just to be sure uBlock Origin doesn't interfere with NoScript in any common configuration, what's the rule blocking sync-messages.invalid and where does it come from? Well, I found ||invalid^$important in my custom filters, which would explain why this hit me so hard. I'm not sure why that was...
