Sorry for the trouble: deleting the extension files in the profile fixed the problem.

Updated to 1.9.5 this morning: can no longer spawn new windows. New tabs work. Disabling NoScript fixes the problem
How do I get back to a non-beta version? (Direct link please, as the RSS feed only gets me 10 links and 1.9.4.1 still has the problem).
