uGet for Windows, request support similar to WellGet
I was wondering if it would be possible to give uGet for Windows the same kind of "browse for the binary" option that WellGet has? The auto-support for uGet is perfect for Linux but since uGet for Windows is a portable app it is unlikely to be able to autodetect it. I am not sure if it is ...

Weird Question: Install Custom Download Manager Scriptable?
Is it possible to run a script or something to automatically install a custom download manager? I have a custom tool that I would like to add but it is not something that would make sense as an official entry so was wondering if it would be possible to write a script and then install it without havi...

Re: Can you add support for MultiGet (download manager for l
I wasn't asking why you supported it...but was asking slavoon2 why he wanted support since the project is dead. It is cool that you add support so quickly.Giorgio Maone wrote:Because I've been asked to and it was relatively simple to do.Michael Tunnell wrote:just curious but why do you want support for this?

just curious but why do you want support for this?
MultiGet'ssourceforge summary says that it was last updated in May of 2013 but if you look at any of the files in the project they haven't been updated since November 18th, 2010 so it has been dead for essentially 3.33 Years.

Re: uGet Update for FlashGot
All done (notice this board supports spaces in usernames, hence I changed yours into "Michael Tunnel"). Thank you very much. Final request (at least should be the last thing), will you please update the entry of Uget to the new project name display of "uGet". I think it is right...

Re: uGet Update for FlashGot
Thank you for implementing my fix. Would you mind listing me as Michael Tunnell on the credit/changelog? (I am a uGet project member but I go by my name instead of a moniker...so people know the fix is official) Actually if it is possible, I'd like to update my account here to be "MichaelTunnel...

uGet Update for FlashGot
Please update FlashGot to incorporate a fix...this fix applies to downloading YouTube files. Right now when you use uGet it doesnt get the real filename so instead it replaces it with "videplayback". With this fix it makes the filename correct. http://i.stack.imgur.com/UzAuV.png -- Michael...

well that sucks but sure he does...he could use a USA based proxy server and there are hundreds of those...just as I have to use a UK proxy to watch anything on the BBC website until they switch to global.Aerik wrote:... forbids him from viewing hulu.com, so he has no way to get around to this issue.
