Apologies for vanishing. Real Life got in the way.
I've just retested with latest nightly and I'm no longer seeing the problem. I'll run with Firebug + NoScript enabled and see if the leak happens with daily browsing. I'll report back and open a ticket if it does.

Re: NoScript + Firebug = massive memory leak
That helped by significantly reducing memory usage while running the test - but memory still crept up: 338, 385, 429, 470Giorgio Maone wrote: Please set the noscript.toStaticHTML about:config preference to false as well.

Re: NoScript + Firebug = massive memory leak
Does disabling surrogates ( noscript.surrogate.enabled -> false in about:config ) help? It helps - but does not fix the problem. Here are memory readings (in 1000 kbs) after each SunSpider run: 380, 420, 456, 473, 496 Thanks for the explanation and bug report. I'll take a look tomorrow and raise a ...

Re: NoScript + Firebug = massive memory leak
No. Would they not say it's a problem with NoScript / Firebug?
Also memory use is far higher while the SunSpider test is running when NoScript is installed / enabled.

[RESOLVED] NoScript + Firebug = massive memory leak
I've been seeing a memory leak for the last couple of weeks - not exactly sure when it started. I've tracked down the cause to being NoScript + Firebug. It happens in daily use but the SunSpider test - http://www.webkit.org/perf/sunspider/sunspider.html - is a good trigger. Here are results from run...

OK, thanks. I didn't know about NSA. Looks excellent. I'll wait impatiently for it.

Re: External filters - site whitelist lost on restart
Giorgio,
Confirmed: with executable defined, the site list is remembered.
However, that just gives me another problem because I misunderstood what this whitelist was for. I've started another thread: http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... =10&t=6365

NoScript as Flashblock replacement - need whitelist feature
I'd like to use NoScript as a replacement for FlashBlock but I can't quite get it configured the way I would like. I have a long list of whitelisted sites and I have 'Forbid Flash' checked and I have 'Embeddings... Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too'. That works OK most of the time bu...

External filters - site whitelist lost on restart
Nightly / NoScript 2.1.0.3rc3
When I add new sites to 'Advanced -> External Filters -> Do not filter objects coming from these sites' the sites are lost when I restart the browser.

Re: Latest Firefox build crashes with latest NoScript
I can't reproduce it here on Windows, but I bet it's due to the recently introduced compartments and it's very likely https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604368 I've got the feeling you can work around by temporarily setting the noscript.surrogate.enabled about:config preference to false. ...
