Re: Cannot change NoScript settings suddenly
Giorgio - on a restart of FF, all seems OK again. Did not help before, but has helped now. I also ran an sfc / scannow and a Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth . Maybe helped although didn't report anything. So shall leave alone for now. Many thanks again, and I dig your new haircut. Happy...

Cannot change NoScript settings suddenly
FF 83.0 on Win 10 Pro 64-bit v 1909 Suddenly, in the NoScript drop down menu, on any website, clicking on Temp Trusted or Trusted doesn't do anything. I was able manually to add stayaka.com as a Trusted site in NoScript's options, but not while I was on the site. It seems to be frozen for all websit...

Re: Doubleclick doesn't show in list but I need to Temporarily Trust it
Barbaz - On the affected NYT editorial web page, Disconnect is showing doubleclick.net and googletagmanager.com as separate red circles in the "visualize page" display.
I assume I have NoScript WebExt on my Firefox 69.0.1. Is there any way to flip back to NoScript Classic?

Re: I see checkmark in "Disable restrictions globally" - is this right?
Barbaz - "Before" was two days ago. I don't know the difference between NoScript Classic and NoScript Webext. It's been on my Firefox for years and years - ten years? Longer? My FF is now 69.0.1 on Win 7 Pro 64-bit. And you and I are continuing our discussion about doubleclick at https:/...

Re: Doubleclick doesn't show in list but I need to Temporarily Trust it
barbaz - after I last posted below, I went into options and added doubleclick.net as "Default". Now, yes, there is a listing for doubleclick.net in npr.org after I Temporarily Trust npr.org. In the new landing web page for NY Times op-ed editorials -- https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Doubleclick doesn't show in list but I need to Temporarily Trust it
When NoScript is running normally, I don't see doubleclick listed in NoScript at all . Maybe long ago I globally Not Trusted it so it doesn't show up any more? How do I set NoScript so that I see doubleclick (as Default) with all the other sources of scripts and can decide whether or not to Tempor...

I see checkmark in "Disable restrictions globally" - is this right?
I love NoScript, but maybe I did something wrong? -- I'm on Firefox 69.0.1 on Win 7 Pro 64-bit, with NoScript, Disconnect, Avast AV and other add-ons. While struggling with some issues on the newly designed web pages of the NY Times (nytimes.com), I looked at NoScript Options, it shows me its &quo...

NoScript 10.1.3 reduces Firefox window size to "Restore"
Just installed FF 57 and it shows me NoScript 10.1.3. Nice! However, when I click on the NS icon at upper right to see what it's doing, it reduces the FF window size to "Restore" size instead of "Maximum" size . I have to hit the "Maximize" button at far upper right t...

barbaz - I'm now badly tied up for rest of day. Can you send me the steps for troubleshooting -- for me to do later? Thanks.

Re: Wall Street Journal very hard to use
barbaz - thanks. Unfortunately, there is NOT a link where a non-subscriber can check. I actually just called them to see if, for example, there was a link for seven days free (which I would then send you), but no luck. So, I urge all visitors here who are wsj.com subscribers to check with NoScript a...

Wall Street Journal very hard to use
Love NoScript and just made a donation to Mr. Maone. Here's my issue: I go to the Wall Street Journal website on my Firefox browser frequently during the day, but that site is so full of scripts and other stuff that it's hard to use with NoScript security. It's the worst site I know. Even worse, it ...

How to whitelist ***.fabrik.nytimes.com
The New York Times website runs scripts from varying sources ending in .fabrik.nytimes.com. For example, http://core10usw2.fabrik.nytimes.com, with the numbers always changing. I would like to ALLOW everything from these, but cannot enter .fabrik.nytimes.com into the whitelist. I already have nytime...

Re: FF eliminated "ask me every time"
barbaz - just for the record: 1) I use NoScript, AdBlock Plus, Disconnect, Better Privacy and HTTPS Everywhere on all my FF browsers. "Ask me every time" was another -- but very important -- tool, and very easy to use. 2) My XP machine still has my email, and I've been keeping it updated w...

Re: FF eliminated "ask me every time"
barbaz - if you feel so negatively, then many of us who used "ask me every time" continuously are sunk. It worked for ALL incoming cookies, not just third-party cookies. It let us see, in real time, what was coming in and whether to Allow or Deny, temporarily or permanently, immediately. O...

FF eliminated "ask me every time"
Giorgio - Mozilla has eliminated "ask me every time" in FF 44. And Mozilla didn't tell anyone. I don't understand this. "Ask me every time" and NoScript are the No. 1, 2, 3, ... 100 top reasons for using FF. Can you create an "ask me every time" add-on? Can you call you...
