yeah 12.0.2 was a quick fix to previous 12.0 releases for Chrome
while 12.0.2 works in Chrome, someone recently reported that 12.0.2 does not work in MS Edge

Re: Chrome warns NoScript may soon no longer be supported
Not sure what is the current status of NoScript regarding Chromium/Chrome's Manifest v3? Looking through the changelog today, it looks like Giorgio is working on MV3-compatible code and perhaps plans to release that in a future v12 version. But he seems to stay very quiet about these things. I thin...

Re: Google Chrome will soon no longer support NoScipt
That's cool! Is there a link somewhere where I can view the steps to implement this registry hack or would you mind posting the steps in this thread? That way I as wells as other Chrome users who wish to do so can still use Noscript until Google pulls the plug. recently saw this notice on the Noscr...

Re: Chrome warns NoScript may soon no longer be supported
ghacks.net - Google is killing uBlock Origin in Chrome, but this trick lets you keep it for another year I use this tip from that page which will allow me to continue using uBlock Origin and Noscript in Google Chrome until June 2025 the "extension may soon no longer be supported" message ...

Re: Google Chrome will soon no longer support NoScipt
unfortunately there no reliable alternatives to Noscript for Chrome these days. I use to use something like ScriptSafe several years ago on Chrome but that one is outdated & no longer reliable on modern Chrome versions. we'll just have to wait and see if Giorgio can produce a Manifest V3 versio...

Re: NS 11.4.34 not compatible with Firefox 78.15
I guess it was an oversight that the Noscript creator missed
maybe use the much older 10.1.7.3 version for FireFox 78.x

Re: Is there advantage to NoScript blocking Flash
I don't see an "easy" advantage for NS to block flash
anyway, recent versions of Firefox alone can handle the flash blocking

hi lakrsrool - it has been a little over 3 months since I last responded since I was very busy
I'm no longer using NS on Palemoon as I have removed NS completely and replaced it with uMatrix.
PM always display an addon warning with NS but not with uMatrix

Re: Firefox deactivates NoScript...and calls it Legacy
before I updated FF60 ESR from 60.6.1 to 60.6.2 I delete the cert9.db file from my Firefox user profile folder, then manually download & install FF 60.6.2 and then load FF 60 ESR, which will create a new cert9.db file. Noscript along with uBlock origin started to work properly again.

get rid of the Disconnect addon as it is no longer being updated for almost two years:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... t/reviews/
one review suggests replacing "disconnect addon" with either uBlock origin or privacy badger
