Re: NS interfers with login on one website
Cookie issue perhaps? Are you possibly using the same Profile for both 3.6.13 & a FF 4.x build too? There are any number of issues related in doing so (& in particularly, recently). NoScript 2.0.9.1 is the current release version. I strongly suspect my Firefox preferences were corrupted dur...

NS interfers with login on one website
When I login to http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/ there's no problem. But when I go to any other webpage of that site, I get logged out. I checked all my extensions and NS 2.0.8.1 was the bad guy. Is there a newer version of NS? I'm still using OS X 10.6.3 and Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6...

Re: Is an https:// connection always secure?
Apparently that's true only if the favicon turns blue or green too. The Checkout page had an https connection and the blue favicon in the url bar. I think the blue favicon with grandtea.com in it indicates that all the content on the page was encrypted. But if I enter https://www.grandtea.com/ into...

Is an https:// connection always secure?
Can a website direct you to a webpage that has a https:// connection and still be unsecure? I've noticed that NS will not force such a website to be secure.
An example is Grandtea.com at http://www.grandtea.com/

[RESOLVED] NoScript 1.9.9.15 crashing Firefox?
Has anyone besides me noticed Firefox 3.5.5 crashing a lot since installing NoScript 1.9.9.15 on their Macintosh computer?

Re: Forcing www.arkivmusic.com to be secure
Not all servers will provide an HTTPS connection, or accept your request for one. Actually, many won't. [snip] You could email the webmaster and ask for a site enhancement of all browsing being secure while logged in. Might or might not work. I will see if the webmaster will enhance the site, but I...

[CLOSED BY OP] Forcing www.arkivmusic.com to be secure
Forcing http://www.arkivmusic.com to be secure by adding *.arkivmusic.com to NS>Options>Advanced>Behavior does work but the the website becomes unusable. For example, try finding the recordings performed by the Hilliard Ensemble. Select the link on the left-side of the homepage labeled 'Ensembles'. ...

Re: Feature Request: Search feature for NS encypted cookies
That would scare me until I found out. The fact that an email address unknown to you is in your files calls for further investigation. Worst case: Your info, possibly keylogger, is being emailed to that person. Probably not, but why *is* it there? Sounds like an inquiry to Apple Mail support is in ...

Re: Feature Request: Search feature for NS encypted cookies
I know zero about Mac, and I'm presently on F2.20, out of eccentricity, I suppose. But when I opened prefs.js with Wordpad and used "Find" = "Forced", it took me right to my list of NS Force HTTPS: for example (I won't list all out of privacy, of course) *hushmail.com. I wasn't ...

Re: Feature Request: Search feature for NS encypted cookies
Actually, they're not NS "cookies", or cookies at all. It's a *list* of which cookies you wish for NS to force HTTPS on. My mistake, and thanks for pointing it out. I was thinking of the fact that the MZ cookies were in the sql file, much as Guardian pointed out. I too wondered just how m...

Feature Request: Search feature for NS encypted cookies
I'd like to see a 'Search' or 'Find' feature added to NS>Options>Advanced>HTTPS>Cookies if possible. Either add the above suggestion (if possible) or else the encrypted cookie list should be in alphabetical order like the whitelist is. While scrolling through the cookie list to find a particular URL...

Can NoScript force all webpages of a URL to be secure?
Can NoScript force all the webpages of one domain to be secure? I'd like to secure all webpages of http://www.haldiramusa.com to be secure so I've added *.haldiramusa.com to NS>Options>Advanced>HTTPS>Behavior. Sure enough, the homepage at http://www.haldiramusa.com is secure. But any page after that...

Re: NoScript & Tracking Cookies
NoScript isn't meant to manage HTTP Cookies and thus it doesn't stop the generic tracking cookies you mentioned. However, since it can be a security risk to allow HTTP access to HTTPS cookies, NoScript has an option to help prevent this kind of cookie hijacking (see FAQ Questions 6.4 ). If you are ...
