Interesting. When I disabled all of the active add-ons and restarted, FireFox came right back up. Checked the Add-On manager, and everything was exactly how it was before I disabled and restarted. Thanks for the advice, but that's exactly what I did. I know you can't play with files that are actively being written to. I just tried it again, regardless, and the same thing occurred.

OK, renamed the three files. When I started Firefox back up, NoScript still wasn't installed. All three files were created.
