Now, that is worrying. Do you think that the SeaMonkey 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' feature can combat that somewhat (using NoScript as well of course).

Oh, OK. I think I should have phrased the question more clearly. I was wondering if it had any efficacy as a service. I think there is some software to download as well though.

How do I 'unblock' pictures?

OK, I know this may seem like a very basic question, but I am not that knowledgeable with computers. I blocked the 'Featured Trailer' on IMDb on SeaMonkey Portable (Flashblock style). This was primarily to speed up page loading running SM on a flashdrive using old & slow computers. Unfortunately...

Re: The firefox browser doomed?

"When its done" Yes, of course you're right. It's best that they get the bugs out. It is a bit of an architecture change for Firefox so I suppose it needs developing properly. Personally, I think it will be a success. I'm looking forward to a 64 bit Firefox.

Re: The firefox browser doomed?

So ... the question is "when will Firefox 4 come out of the beta phase?" How many more betas will there be, what do you reckon? :?: ;)

Just copy the NP-MSWMP.dll into the SeaMonkey /extensions/ directory.
OK, thanks therube. Ermm... you may have to talk me through this, my knowledge of computers tends to start & end with 'Windows for Dummies' LOL!

Re: The firefox browser doomed?

OK, I figured out the WMP plug-in, I uninstalled it & re-installed, that seemed to do the trick. :?

It has never worked in SeaMonkey though, not even in 2.1 beta 1 ... :(

Re: The firefox browser doomed?

OK, I'm quite impressed with Firefox 4. WOT, NoScript & ABP are working fine. I can't seem to get the WMP plug-in to work though, even though I downloaded it again. Maybe the fatty Fox isn't doomed after all? The new GUI will take some getting used to though!
