Ubuntu - wget
It seems that Ubuntu now includes wget. I have not yet tried wget. In Ubuntu 9.04, currently with Firefox 3.0.12, Will FlashGot work with the built-in wget? Or, would I do better with aria or d4X? Note that I saw a posting recently that D4X is no longer being developed/supported. If true, that would...

Why am I receiving update notifications?
In Firefox, I have all 3 boxes cleared in Tools | Options | Advanced | Update, so I should not be seeing update notifications about Firefox, Extensions, or Search Engines. And I have:
extensions.update.autoUpdateEnabled;false
extensions.update.enabled;false
How do I disable FlashGot notifications.
