Re: 'Temporarily allow' doesn't always work
Thanks both, much appreciated. As I suspected, there's more to this stuff than is immediately obvious ;-) Re email links, yes, I am pretty careful but the bad guys are getting smarter. This particular Viator email (an invitation to comment on a holiday excursion I took last week) was obviously OK an...

Re: 'Temporarily allow' doesn't always work
I promised more details the next time this occurred. An email link took me to this page http://www.viator.com/error.jspa?code=VTC125 That displayed this error: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/NoScript-3.jpg I clicked Temporarily allow all this page . But the page did not refresh automatically. Nor d...

Re: 'Temporarily allow' doesn't always work
Thanks Tom, appreciate the fast and detailed reply, very helpful. I do have Automatically reload affected pages when permissions change enabled, which is why I'm puzzled about those few occasions when it didn't work. If/when I get another I'll try to report it in more detail. Meanwhile I think on ba...

[RESOLVED] 'Temporarily allow' doesn't always work
Occasionally (but frequently enough to prompt this post) I get the following situation. I open a page, find it's not fully working, click Temporarily allow all this page and then use Ctrl + R to refresh the page (which sometimes but not always seems necessary - I've never really understood the incon...

Cannot use format tools in a forum
I've just posted to this Google Earth forum: http://www.gearthhacks.com/forums/showthread.php?14719-Confused-about-creating-using-Tours but was unable to apply any formatting ( bold , line breaks, etc). I had to go to IE to do so. This happened once before in the same forum, and that turned out to b...

Re: Cannot add to Whitelist: Allow greyed out
From your reply, I'm obviously missing something, as the only menu I know of is the context menu I get either by r-clicking a page and choosing NoScript, or by clicking the 'S' icon in the status bar, as shown here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/NoScriptMenu-1.jpg (That's how I'm accessing Option...

Re: Cannot add to Whitelist: Allow greyed out
To elaborate on what therube said: select invisionzone.com and remove it first. Then you can Allow just pgmacros.invisionzone.com. Thanks both - particularly Alan, as I'd never have understood how to fix it from therube's reply! So presumably invisionzone.com was included in the default list? And I...

Cannot add to Whitelist: Allow greyed out
I cannot add any entries to my Whitelist, as Allow is greyed out: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019461/NoScriptWhitelist.jpg From the FAQ, number 3.22 Q: Suddenly my "Allow ..." commands are grey and disabled. I cannot whitelist any domain! What's going on? A: Very likely you've accidentally mo...

Re: Cannot listen to this live radio
Please allow also "musicradio.com". Notice that I get an ASP server error, though, so something seems to be broken on the server side too. Giorgio: musicradio.com is already in the 'whitelist', yet I still have the problem. Sometimes the player spins its wheel for 1-2 minutes and then sta...

Re: Cannot listen to this live radio
I disabled NoScript, restarted FF and tried again, but the problem remained. So it's not down to NoScript. Yet IE works solidly every time. Some sort of HTML issue?
