If it is not the latest NoScript version as per https://noscript.net/getit, please leave open the Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) while using Firefox and let us know any related messages there around the time this issue occurs.

What version of NoScript?

Does about:crashes show anything relevant (at times when NoScript/FF crashed)?

Several times a day I get a question mark in the icon and no scripts are blocked. This also sometimes causes Firefox to crash. In any case I have to close the browser and restart it to get NoScript back. What's going on? It's been happening for over a year.
