I would guess a redirection occurred. icloud.com probably redirected to some page on apple.com, which then redirected back to icloud.com.

a question on NS v5

by ajay » Sat Dec 01, 2018 2:12 pm

Hello,
I have a question about Noscript v5 (latest) which I can't find answered in the forum or FAQ.
The following happens, after allowing a domain (e.g. icloud.com) in the NS dialog (v5.1.9) :

- usually the NS menu shows what one would expect, 'forbit' and 'untrusted' entries,
- but sometimes, and I cannot figure out when and why, the following entry appears in the NS menu :
under 'recently blocked sites' it offers "temporarily allow all from apple.com".

Now bear in mind, apple.com is not in my whitelist, has not been blocked, or otherwise used.
So why (if icloud.com calls apple...) isn't apple.com offered in the top level menu of NS ?
Why does it only show up as explained above ?

If my question isn't clear please ask, and I will try to explain better ...
