Not for me - same fault with NoScript 5.0.9 and FF 52.3.0 ESR

Version 5.0.9 (22 Aug 2017) solved the problem for me.
Thank you.
Please try this version.

I missed the "force e10s enabled" portion of the program. Didn't need to disable other addins, only Mozilla Archive Format addin. Now it works.

Any chance we can get it working without enabling e10s or is there a programming limitation on the new FF? I use MAF a lot so disabling it permanently isn't an option for me.

please check latest development build 5.0.7rc2 for regressions (i.e. please confirm that Ebay->Paypal communication still works with e10s enabled), because I fixed a e10s-related bug which might have side effects on this issue, which I'm unable to reproduce anymore :(
Thanks Giorgio, but it's still broke for me with the developer build. It allows for login, but once it changes to the loading spinner after login it just continues on forever.

If I right click and choose this Frame> open in a new tab then I am shown it freezing at https://fedsignin.ebay.com/fedauth/Rece ... rV2?state=(big long collection of numbers and letters here)

To confirm this I have to understand the work of both deeper as i can.

uMatrix stop scripts from third party by default and show me, which this sites are, thats what i need.

If NoScript will work again in future, may be i go back, but at this point it is broken for me - sorry.

Glad you guys found something that works for you, but please note that µMatrix, while a great addon, is not a NoScript replacement. In fact, they are so different that I for one use both NoScript and µMatrix side-by-side.

Thanks TS for the uMatrix suggestion. I wouldn't call the UI intuitive but I'm pretty happy with it now and sadly am bidding NoScript farewell.

I have switched to uMatrix (and delete NoScript - sorry).

And have solved this problem.

As you can see in the in the Matrix of this AddOn, there are many more urls from Ebay and PayPal, which have to set on the whitelist.
NoScript never see or offer them to whitelisting...

uMatrix is (for me) the better solution, it offers an better UI.

So this hint is also only an workaround, no problem solving.

Wondering why this needs so much time...

Yes fixes for me also (e10s) but breaks Mozilla Archive Format Add on.

OK, great! That works for me very well in FF53 and Win 7.

But may be that there are problems with addons that do not support e10s?

There's a really simple way to fix the problem:

Cause of the problem occuring in FF52 / 53: After installing the FF update, the multipocessor feature (aka "e10s") is disabled. This seems to cause the problem to occur.

Solution: just set the about:config variable browser.tabs.remote.force-enable to true (if it doesn't exist (anymore): just create it as boolean)

Is there anything appearing in the Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+J) when this occurs?
