Fixed in latest development build 2.6.8.7rc4, thank you.

I also noticed a significant perf regression with 2.6.8.6, with a couple of windows with 20 or so tabs each Fx became almost unusable, didn't do a lot of testing, went back to 2.6.8.5 which seems to have resolved the problem

@Giorgio, I don't have FlashGot on any of my Gecko browsers yet I still could reproduce this...
Sorry, wrong thread. The right one is this.
I can already confirm it's the culprit and I'm fixing it.

Very likely related to this fix.
Google Maps loads a huge number of imags in background, and ABE is probably feeling them harder than before.
Investigating, thanks.

Very strange.
Confirmed on Linux with SeaMonkey 2.22.1. Still can't reproduce this on my Mac though, nor with Fx 17 on the same Linux :?:
Same settings on both Mac and Linux SeaMonkeys, and very similar configuration on the Firefox.

Nothing related in the error console, and all scripts allowed.

There is a huge difference with NoScript disabled.

(I'll assume that there too is a difference between the versions?)
(Don't know if all locations have "45 degrees", but "Las Vegas, NV" did, & then I zoomed in about 75%.)

In the NS menu, what sites are allowed, and what sites are disallowed?

Any related messages in the Browser Console when this issue occurs? (Cmd-Shift-J)

FWIW, the delay/slowdown happens regardless of whether I scroll-zoom with a trackpad or a mouse wheel.

Still a problem for me with 2.6.8.7rc2 from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/

I'm running OS X and no issue here with 2.6.8.7rc2
Try installing the latest development build of NS, see if that works

After auto-update to NS 2.6.8.6 on FF 25.0 for OS X, zooming by scrolling on Google Maps satellite mode, particularly transition to 45-degree mode, is terribly slow. Reverting to 2.6.8.5 fixed it.
