I just had this occur again, http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... 492#p12492.

I was signed in to gmail - newsgroup. Don't think I actually loaded/opened up my mail?
Signed out, then went I signed back in at http://www.gmail.com/ with a different username.

At that point, I again got just what is pictured in the link.
(don't remember exact sequence, but...)
Opened the link again (Ctrl+Enter on the URL bar does it in SeaMonkey) into a new tab.
(don't recall if I needed to refresh the page or if it "opened" in the same manner again?)
But whether I refreshed or not, at least I was able to successfully have the page load.
And again the URL change from the pictured http://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1 to the (successfully displaying page) with the URL showing as http://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#inbox.

Nothing of consequence in Error Console. Running .14.

Glad its working for everyone, so will mark this issue as resolved. Should something else surface, please let us know, preferably in a new topic.

pages loading

not sure if this is the right place to do this.
just wanted to say thank you for fixing the bug that was stopping pages loading.
even thou you couldnt re-produce it,its still been fixed. :)
all pages work fine again.

hope ive not caused more work posting here.just didnt feel right not saying anything.
felt a bit like posting a hi-jack log asking for help then not not comming back if you kwim.

anyway thank you for your time and patince yesterday.
and obviously the new build.

Thank you Giorgio! Everything works fine with the latest release. All pages finish loading. I forgot to mention yesterday that I do run the free edition of ZoneAlarm on this particular machine. We do appreciate the hard work you put into this software. It helps make the Net a better place.

The "dev" builds ARE indeed final release builds, they just haven't been pushed out to AMO yet, that's the only difference. They are fully complied each time and packaged so they are the latest of the best code available. Don't hesitate.

Yes, the official release through Mozilla Updates will be the same as the dev. build, else it would have a different version number.

You do not need to uninstall the dev build and re-download. If .14 is working for you, then you are good.

No proxy. Running Comodo CIS but only the firewall and D+ portion. Never been an issue with NoScripts. I even rolled back to .11 and it was fine. I was not even going to try the dev. .14 build because I always wait for official releases. But said what the heck and it fixed the problem for me. You make it and are stumped as well. Don't know what it could be. If you are doing a emergency push of .14 Is it the same as the dev. build or will it need to be uninstalled and then re-download through the internal update?

I see two differences between Free and Extreme.
Advanced Download
Protection New, Exclusive

Allows users to surf with full protection against malicious software like drive-by downloads and browser exploits
The latter sounds similar to Sandboxie, though I haven't investigated ZA's virtualization program, but I do know that for updates, I must either use an unsandboxed browser or go through a rather involved process to get the update and then move it from the sandbox to an admin-privileged browser.

Hope this might give a clue.

FWIW, I use ZoneAlarm Free, and have had no problems at all with either .12, .13, or .14, though I've had the latter for only a few hours.

I also notice that there is no noscript.checkHijackings in about:config, so I assume this feature is F3+ only?
Would thinking of any differences between F2 and F3 help you find the cause?

I had this problem with 1.9.9.12 but I went back to .11 and it fixed it. And I'm using Zone Alarm Extream.

Why it is effecting some and not others is beyond me. I have been a noscript user since day 1. This was surely a NS issue. I disabled NS and it worked fine. Enable it again. Page loading issues. Some sites not loading at all. The latest dev. build has fixed the problem for me and smooth as butter again. Since releases are frequent. Maybe people are just holding out for a update or rolled back to the previous version. Or simply do not want to bother reporting it. That could be why the uproar is not to big right now.
