Some people were able to install Development Build 11.0.13rc1 to Waterfox, but take note that on Waterfox, unsigned extensions and legacy add-ons are allowed that's why. Another thing is that no matter what Profile you have, you should be able to install Development Build (Release Candidate); however, on this version 11.0.13rc1 as I've said earlier, I found out that this Development Build version was
NOT meant to be for Firefox but rather for Chromium-based Google Chrome.
And subsequently, a Final (stable) version of 11.0.13 was released for Chrome only.
I admit that my prior assumptions and others thought that once a certain Development Build or Final (stable) builds were released, it can be installed to Firefox, but not at this time. That's why NoScript website should put up a link specifically for use whether intended for Firefox, Chrome, or Opera, etc.
Example was uBlock Origin's Github releases site:
https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases which includes corresponding browser's link to install.
This is a piece of info as I analyzed such build released at informaction.com or better known as
https://NoScript.net/getit. Remember to check the NoScript Changelog:
https://noscript.net/changelog for better understanding of various builds from the Development Build (Release Candidate) to the Final (Stable) build.
- Thanks.
