It might have been that your settings got corrupted and resetting it generally fixes the problem, we just remind that if you want to save your whitelist/blacklist items, that you export them BEFORE you reset and that way you can restore them. It seems you did everything right and glad its working for you now.

I was also having problems with facebook and another site not working unless I allowed scripts globally. I exported my white list reset my options then imported my white list and now it works. This was on 1.9.1.5 and 1.9.1.6.

On behalf of myself, Giorgio and the rest, we thank you for noticing and we are always here to help the best we can. Giorgio is amazing at keeping this tool at its best and we believe its an invaluable tool as well.

Glad you got it worked out and you are welcome. Let us know if anything else comes up. You can always put the other addons back one by one until you hit the same snag and that will allow you to figure out exactly which one was the culprit. Otherwise, good luck and happy surfing.

Well, if you aren't having problems and you haven't heard from anyone else with the same problem, then I am willing to bet there is something wrong with my setup. I will figure it out. I bet I have another plug-in causing a conflict, or just need to start with a fresh Mozilla profile. Thanks for your fast responses guys! And by the way, noscript is one of the most useful security tools around, great work!

Not to overstep Giorgio, but have you considered an Option|Reset in case there is something corrupted in the settings. Although I don't use Facebook regularly or much frankly, I have gone there and borrowed a friends account to try and reproduce the problem you are facing and no go. It all works fine, so maybe something got messed up and a reset would fix? Have you tried? If you have already done that and no fix, then feel free to ignore me and hopefully your steps to reproduce will give Giorgio something to work with.

Could you list steps to reproduce for at least one of these cases?

I am having some odd results with versions 1.9 through 1.9.1.5. Javascript on many sites are not running at all even if the source is allowed. The most commonly used site I am having this problem is Facebook, but even on the forums here I don't get the CAPTCHA unless I allow scripts globally. Am I the only one seeing this, or is this a more widespread problem?
