"WAN IP as LOCAL" can't get the IP anymore

by Guest » Sat Apr 16, 2016 12:17 pm

Hello all,

since some days this feature doesn't receive the IP adress anymore and instead shows just the question marks (???).
I now looked closer at the problem and saw that on startup the browser refuses to connect to the server because of an certificate error.
One part of the chain seems not valid so Firefox cancels the request.

In the browser console I see the error "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER" when NoScript tries to connect to "secure.informaction.com" to get the WAN IP.

When browsing to "secure.informaction.com" I get the same error in the normal browser window.
So I'm not sure now if this is a client problem or the certificate on the server side has a problem.
Other parts of the NoScript websites like noscript.net seem to have a different certificate and this works without problems.
The one on "secure.informaction.com" is the only one that doesn't work for me.

I searched the web a bit and it seems to be a problem with parts of the chain being Let's Encrypt Authority X1 and others Let's Encrypt Authority X3 but I don't know much about that stuff.

So, could someone please look at this and give me feedback if this happens at their browser too?
Thanks for your help.
