Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be possible.
I installed and examined the program, and it doesn't appear to have any programmatic interface to add downloads.

Hmm thats odd, I wonder how the firefox plugin does it?
I routinely use grep.exe along with strings.exe to search inside .exe/.dll files for silent switches to install stuff, ran DownloadManagerCore.dll, MSDownloadManager.exe and npMSDM.dll, it might help

Thanks for trying in the first place and responding so fast

Re: [Rejected] Add support for MS Download Manager?
(Caught a quick blurb, something about it not supporting https: downloads?)
"A small, very fast and powerful text extractor that will be of particular interest to programmers. It can extract text from any kind of file and includes the ability to find plain ASCII text, Unicode (double byte ANSI) text and Resource strings, providing useful information for each item in the optional "advanced" view mode. Its comprehensive filtering helps prevent unwanted text being listed. The gathered list can be searched and saved to a separate file as either a plain text file or in informative tabular format."
(I actually prefer an old version of it.)
MS's Download Manager compared to SeaMonkey's. (And I don't really care for SeaMonkey's).
