NoScript 2.0.9.9rc2 Files within the .xpi are Dated 1/1/1980.
(And Mozilla Trunk file dates are 1/1/2010. An earlier & grander time?)
Perhaps depends on how they are extracted or viewed?
Perhaps there is no date/time stamped on the files?
Unzip -l shows current date?
Altap (Servant) Salamander unzip plugin shows 1/1/1980?
7zip (7za.exe I think it is) shows nothing in the date/time columns?

Re: NoScript Files Dated 1/1/1980
The extracted files in my profile are dated 2/16/2011 10:22 PM. Is that Giorgio's local time when he created the archive?

True, the date is apparently zeroed. Though this does not apply to all files or the contents of the jar file.
They plan on removing the date for non-nightly builds but were afraid of possibly breaking something so they added this intermediate step which also reduces fingerprintability, esp. of custom builds for Linux distributions.therube wrote:(And Mozilla Trunk file dates are 1/1/2010. How the archive is listed by various utilities, http://therube.pastebin.com/YqaHw5Qj.
(Note some of the the dates of the utilities themselves .)
