Strange bug with NoScript 1.9.9.90 and Firefox 3.6.4 Build 7

Post by NotAtHome »

Hello,

Strange bug with NoScript 1.9.9.90 (+previous version) and Firefox 3.6.4 Build 7 (+previous build)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; fr; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100611 Firefox/3.6.4 GTB7.0 (.NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729)
(I don't use or install Firebug ... ! (IDEA SOURCE = this.mAllTabsBoxAnimate is null error - msg#00085 - firebug))

Console error no permanently :
Erreur : [Exception... "'JavaScript component does not have a method named: "handleEvent"' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x80570030 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JSOBJECT_HAS_NO_FUNCTION_NAMED)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

Console error permanently ; prohibits the display of other error (i see a wave and i can not read the other errors) :
this.mAllTabsBoxAnimate is null
chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml line 3118

*****
about:config

noscript.temp = "http://forums.informaction.com"
noscript.tempGlobal = true

The parameters are not changed when i see the problem !
The tooltip on the item "Revoke temporary permissions" works and shows the links = "<SCRIPT>: forums.informaction.com" !

*****

When i open a new tab of the same web page (or same domain): the items in the menu NoScript configured temporary http://forums.informaction.com/ = becomes = [ http://forums.informaction. com / ] (but not always). The temporary setting is not retained in the menu, when i open a new tab of the same web page (or same domain).

Thanks to help me.

Did you check whether disabling all your other add-ons helps?
In that thread we found the culprit to be a buggy extension called Load Tabs Progressively. Have you got it?

Even though I should not be obliged to do that, since this is a (rather serious) bug in Load Tab Progressively, I tried to work-around it in latest development build 1.9.9.91.

Hello, this add-on work without problem :
Reload Tabs Progressively :: Add-ons for Firefox ; v0.1.2010020201, Updated February 2, 2010 :
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/70437/
I hope, Reload Tabs Progressively & Load Tabs Progressively, they will be merged with BarTab :: Add-ons for Firefox.
Please: NoScript for Thunderbird and Songbird ; thank you.
Thanks ... for NoScript 1.9.9.91 (and 92) = "Even though I should not be obliged to do that" :ugeek: ! Viva Giorgio Maone :idea:.
