Firefox 3.0.11 pop-up permission issue.

Since the most recent NoScript update I have had issues with sites I've allowed pop-ups on. After about 30-60 minutes of pop-ups working fine, the site starts telling me Firefox is blocking pop-ups. I tried disabling the pop-up blocker, resetting NoScript settings, and searched this forum and Firefox forums for a fix (didn't see one) and it's still happening.

I also have issues with Snap Links Plus since the NoScript update, and updating the SLP to the latest version did not fix the issue. Whenever I try to snap link open any number of tabs, it works only about 55% of the time, and sometimes only if I wait five seconds before releasing the right mouse button and don't move the mouse cursor even a fraction; if the cursor moves, only the first 1-10 tabs might open, and the rest of the selected tabs won't. As I suspect this is a NoScript conflict, I felt I should mention it since it only started happening since the update.

I updated the SLP and it worked slightly better, but still has issues with NoScript.

I have problems with popups in FF 3.0.11 too after the last update.

I installed NoScript just for the Cross-Site Scripting. So I checked the box to allow any scripts.
That worked perfect so far... NoScript "disabled" XSS and FF worked with the popups (and the blocker blocked many of them).

After the last update I got many more popups from sites where the popup was blocked from FF before.
If I disable NoScript the Popup Blocker from FF works fine again.

Perhaps you can help!?

Also having lots of probs since last update.

Keep geting a box at top of screen with an options button - don't understand why.

Been using NoScript for ages without any probs. now it seems to have gone wrong soemwhere.

Is there an option to go back to an earlier version while you sort this out?

Just tried unchecking the ABE thing, and pop-ups are still blocked on the site I linked above despite that I unchecked the pop-up blocker.

Unfortunately not. I disabled ABE and still having popups on every few sites.

same Prob. here with FF Popupblocker since the Update.

Allowed Popups are shown several times and after a while FF says they are blocked ... under Options still shown as allowed.

Disabling ABE has no effect.

I downgraded now to the earlier Version of SLP and everything is fine again...btw. also with SnapLinks ... but i am not very happy with this solution...always got to use the latest version till this time.

Did you check latest development build 1.9.5.5?

After installing the latest development build of NoScript, the snap links issues are fixed, but the pop-up permissions still don't work properly.

Testet 1.9.5.5 on an extra Profile and SnapLinks looks OK there but still the same Prob. wit Popups here too.

After closing + reopening FF everything is OK for the next 3-4 times till it happens again

I installed and tested NoScript 1.9.5.6 and the pop-ups are still being blocked after a period of time.

well maybe it's solved with FF 3.5, i don't know, but i don't wanna upgrade yet, cause some of my fav. addons still don't work with 3.5.

So if there is no solution for 3.0.11 i can live with the older version of NSP till i upgrade my FF ... THX anyways
