[RESOLVED] flashgot hangs when intercepting megaupload

I'm using flashget 1.96.
when I try to "flashgot" a link - it hangs. The process never ends and the link isn't added to flashget.
it doesn't stop working - i can still make other downloads.

this started happening after ver 1.1.7.9. I reverted to ver 1.1.7.8 of flashget and it works fine.

Did you try latest version as well?

Could you show me some links where this happens, and check that "Direct downloads" are enabled in your Megaupload account preferences?

I use DTA with FlashGot and
both links worked perfectly for me.

I think what he is saying is that he is FlashGot'ing the link (as posted here).
(He is not clicking the link, loading the MU web page.)
When he does that the FlashGot progress bar proceeds so far, then stops, & never finishes.
Further the links do not get sent to his download manager.

All kind of to be expected (except for the progress bar issue).

Because one (one who does not have a MU account) cannot download directly like this.
The links are simply a link to a web page, that would have a countdown & a captcha <sp> & then finally a link to the actual download.

PS: With the progress bar issue, it will then show that way on any & all tabs in that window. (No problems in a new window.)

therube, I understood what the OP said and I responded accordingly, doesn't change what I said. Still worked fine on my configuration, so might have to look at something else as the contributing factor, that's all.

It's a bug in the Megaupload link processor, which should just skip MU links when they're not "premium" one and insteads "breaks" the progress bar.
It will be fixed in next release, but FlashGot is not "hanging": it just forgets to reset the progress bar.

The issue seems to fixed for a single link, but when I select all from a page with mixed sources including megaupload, the problem reappears

I tested in that setting, so maybe it's something different specific to the page you're testing on.
Could you give me its URL, either here or by PM if you prefer?

Guess the problem there is the page containing some non-download links in the megaupload.com domain.
Can you confirm it happens on megaupload.com pages only (i.e. not on other pages, e.g. forums, containing megaupload download links)?
However it's a bug which needs to be investigated and fixed, just less widespread than the previous one.

I'm afraid the problem surfaced again with one of the latest versions.
I use ver. 1.1.9.8 and can't load any megaupload links, just as before
