Reget Deluxe nolonger works with FlashGot

After upgrading FF to version 3.5 I'm no longer able to download using the flashgot add on and Reget Deluxe.

Versions i use
Firefox 3.5
Reget Deluxe 5.2 (build 330)
FlashGot 1.1.9.6

I did re-install both Reget Deluxe and FlashGot but this didn't help. After the re-install FlashGot even find(detect) Reget Deluxe as installed download manager.

Correction

Does ReGet intergation with Internet Explorer work?

Before i could answer your question if the Reget integration worked with Internet explorer i had to reinstall Reget Deluxe (i had deselected the Internet explorer integration option, i thought i almost never use Internet explorer so why install the integration for that program). Anyway after installation i tried IE with Reget Deluxe and it worked perfectly.

Then i started FF again and behold FlashGot recognized Reget again and i could download again (maybe the IE integration was needed somehow)

Yes, the IE integration is needed because ReGet's own Fx bridge is not (yet?) compatible with Fx 3.5, therefore FlahsGot has to fallback on the IE component.

Hi Giorgio,

Same problem, FlashGot 1.1.9.8 does not detect ReGet 5.2.
System: Vista x64, FX 3.5, Reget 5.2, admin rights, no antivirus software whatsoever.
I tried all solutions from FAQ 1.1. I reinstalled ReGet several times using only IE integration, only FF, and both.
FlasGot menu item DOES appear in MSIE. But it doesn't work: "download by Reget deluxe" does nothing, "Download all" invokes error message "Click catcher is not installed on this PC". FlasGot does not detect ReGet under FF in either case. Reget.xpi, of course, is not compatible.

The logfile comes in another message, I couldn't post it here because of "Stallown3d" messages.

WHT is wrong with your smartass forum, it doesn't let me post log file entirely, because of cyrillic symbols that appears in it.

The only way it was somehow working in another machine, is when I installed FF 3.0.x, it accepts reget.xpi, Flashgot works, then I upgrapded FF to 3.5 and it for some strange reason still works. But clean install doesn't.

sorry for the Stallownd thing, we filter cyrillic stuff because most of the spam hitting this forum is cyrillic and yours is the first false positive in thousands of posts.

Notice that the fact ReGet does not work in IE is not FlashGot's fault (there's no "FlashGot for IE"), but it does reveal your ReGet is not properly installed or at least that its IE integration component (which FlashGot leverages on) is not properly working.
This may be due to improper installation (e.g. you didn't install ReGet as Administrator) or to some 3rd party software (usually and antivirus) blocking the ReGet component.
