How Do I Use Flashgot???
How Do I Use Flashgot???
I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out on my own but I'm having trouble with Flashgot. I downloaded it today and went to Grooveshark, while the song was playing I right clicked on the page and it showed flashgot media (1). So far so good. I downloaded the mp3 to my desktop and it came out extension .php and there were 0 bytes. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing.
There was trouble with GrooveShark in the past, http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3550.
And even more so today.
Offhand not sure what they're doing, though I do know that we're not getting anything coming down?

Re: How Do I Use Flashgot???
They use disposable, expiring links, i.e. they become useless after ~30 minutes or the first request - whichever comes first. Well, techically, you can repeat the request with a "Range: bytes=0-" header and still get the full file, but I'm yet to find a download manager not created by an idiot for idiots that allows you to set custom headers for a download. Anyway, you need either a userscript that gets you a fresh link, or a download manager that lets you set custom headers.
Also, FlashGot handled the POST data incorrectly, so I fixed it:
