YouTube dissecting their films

Postby andrewmyles » Sat May 26, 2012 10:08 pm

Hi! I recently saw that Youtube changed their buffering system, buffering bits of movies, instead of one whole movie. When I use Flashgot for it, I usually get a list of all of these bits, but no whole movie. This isn't a bit of a problem, as you can claearly copy the url, delete the "&range=XXXX-YYYY" part and download it, but I think it might be useful for flashgot to do it automatically.

URLs where this happens?

I'll note that Nirsoft's VideoCacheView talks about "split video files of YouTube Web site", if that is the same issue.
