In a site with around 10 shockwave objects in a page........
From the context menu>> Blocked objects..I find the 10 objects Temporarily allow shockwave objects 1 ,2 ,3 etc ...Then an Underline ,Then Temporarily allow site *@http xyz.com,temporarily allow shockwave objects at http xyz.com
Clicking anything below the underline seems to give a default permission and the flashes start working even in the next page and all around the site...Quiet logical
1.Can the total object permission be accorded for that viewing page alone??
2.Can the permissions for objects alone could be revoked rather than go in for global revoke temporary permissions.
3.A possible bug (my interpretration?). http://www.rediff.com/
a) Allow rediff.com
b)Blocked objects>>Temporarily allow the "site"
c) REFRESH
d) Forbid rediff
e)Refresh
f)Allow rediff.com
Why the Blocked objects entry is missing in the context? And the objects seem to be working too!

Not a bug. Object permissions (even if given globally for a site) are independent from JavaScript permissions.nagan wrote:3.A possible bug (my interpretration?). http://www.rediff.com/

Re: Object clearance.
If you could make that permission specific too it could be useful..... ,because in a site loaded with lot of Shockwave objects in different pages , a lot of bandwidth is lost before selecting a video OR I would prefer to view the other pages without the objects as I do not want them.Giorgio Maone wrote: Not a bug. Re: Object clearance.
Yeah, per site policies that are not global one way or another has been a feature I have wanted and waited for a while now. I can only hope that the master will get around to it and make it happen.
In the meantime using Adblock Plus and RequestPolicy will have to do

it would be nice if NoScript had this capability, to re-block/un-allow a previously unblocked/allowed object individually, without having to globally 'revoke temporary premissions'. thanksGiorgio Maone wrote:Not yet.nagan wrote:2.Can the permissions for objects alone could be revoked rather than go in for global revoke temporary permissions.
