Re: NoScript 11.4rc3 - "NoScript Options" Theme (since 11.4rc1?)
Thanks for this. Tests done: I have done a 'normal Update', using "about:addons", to get the 'latest' NoScript (on the Dev/Beta channel) on two 'Test Profiles'. From 11.4rc1 to 11.4rc5 <== this was the 'busted Test Profile' that I documented in the 17 screenshots. From 11.3.8rc6 to 11.4rc5...

Yes, all my Profiles (including the clones I used for testing) have dom.storage.enabled set to false.Giorgio Maone wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 4:48 pm Let me guess: you've got dom.storage.enabled set to false in your test profile(s), right?

Re: NoScript 11.4rc3 - "NoScript Options" Theme (since 11.4rc1?)
I have sent Giorgio an e-mail with a PDF which has 17 screenshots with captions. All the screenshots and the text can be put in the public domain. I initially made these screenshots and captions so that I could 'add them to the thread'. I don't have an account with an image sharing service, so I can...

NoScript 11.4rc3 - "NoScript Options" Theme (since 11.4rc1?)
Using Firefox ESR, on Windows 7. Conventions: I am using single quotes (') for slang / imprecise language and double quotes (" ") for direct quotations of text that I can see. I Updated a Profile from 11.3.8rc6 to 11.4rc3. In 11.3.8rc6 all was OK. In 11.4rc3, I have noticed the following: ...

NoScript 11.3.8rc2 - Getit, RSS Feed and Changelog
More than 24 hours ago I updated two Profiles from 11.3.8rc1 to 11.3.8rc2. Just before making this post I updated a 3rd Profile to 11.3.8rc2. However, I'm not sure what features are 'new in this version' as: Getit https://noscript.net/getit the RSS Feed https://noscript.net/feed?c=200&t=a and th...

Updating from 11.1.1rc1 to 11.1.2rc1 - Failed
On Windows, using Firefox 78.3.1esr, on a Profile with NoScript 11.1.1rc1 1. In about:support note that NoScript is detected as "11.1.1rc1" 2. In about:addons 3. Check for Updates 4. An "Available Update" is found (in the "Available Updates" Tab), it is NoScript. 5. Use...

This seems to be fixed. I don't know when it was fixed. It might have been on: "Sat, 01 Feb 2020 22:02:12 +0000" (see the feed https://noscript.net/feed?c=200&t=a ). I can't find any better information. Note this is after my post "Sat Feb 01, 2020 4:49 pm" (just above). Yeste...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed, XPI is not signed
To restate the issue: Issue: NoScript Updates Fail Firefox users, on the NoScript BETA channel, when doing a 'Check for Updates' either automatically or via "about:addons". A 'new version' is Available but NoScript fails to Update. The 'new version' that is 'found' is this 'unsigned versio...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed, XPI is not signed
This issue remains. I will restate it in the next post. Now, before criticising anybody, I will point out that in this thread I 'rushed into posting', and so 'made inaccurate points'. Here are four examples: In the 3rd post I wrote: My opinion is that Giorgio intended 11.0.13rc1 to work on both Fir...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed
So, running Firefox 68.4.1esr, using the 'new Test Profile' that I created for the 4th post. In "about:config" I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false I then opened "about:addons" and attempted a 'normal Update check', as described in the 4th post. I received the (expected W...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed
Following up on the question: Where do the RC / BETA versions of NoScript, for Firefox, 'check for Updates'? I looked inside the XPI (I imagine therube also did this). How? I used the NoScript XPI in the 'new Test Profile' (while I was not running the Profile). I copied "{73a6fe31-595d-460b-a92...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed
I hope, and expect, this issue will be solved as soon as Giorgio uploads a 11.0.13 rc2 (or 'higher version') that 'works for Firefox'. I also hope that even the 'blue dot' indicator 'alarm' will be solved when there is a newer working version for Firefox. I will try and confirm that, when there is a...

Re: Updating from 11.0.12rc2 to 11.0.13rc1 - Failed
Was thinking about this, & isn't it that there are no longer rc's on AMO? So rc's would only update from here. You may well be correct. However, the key point in this thread is; 'Normal rc Updates Fail'. So, when anybody, on Firefox, who is on the BETA channel, uses about:addons to 'Update Exte...
